Spurs are in front of the queue for his signature.
Something like David Ornstein suggested that in builds up until Wednesday night, Postcoglow is likely to leave Tottenham regardless of its success in Europe.
The Spurs are a 21 Premier League defeat this season and are still counting. That means Levy was able to get along well with the 59-year-old company amid an interesting link with many alternative top-level coaches.
Postcoglo spoke ahead of the first European final since losing to the Champions League to Liverpool in 2019, saying he is relaxed about his future regardless of what happens.
“That’s not a problem because for me, and more importantly for the club, the reality is an opportunity,” Postcoglo told reporters about his tenuous position as the Spurs boss.
“I have previously said that what happens beyond tomorrow is kind of irrelevant when thinking about opportunities that exist now, and that opportunity has been in the 41st year without a trophy and without a European trophy, not just for the year 15 or 16.
“It’s fair to say that if I had been worried about my tenure at this football club, I would not have been in this position because I was distracted a long time ago, and I’m just focusing on giving this football club the best opportunity to do something special for a while.
Tottenham Shortlist Inter Milan’s boss Simone Inzagi
The Spurs are able to look to Italy in search of a replacement for Post-Coglu, and former Ajax boss Francesco Fariori has been heavily linked to his travels to Tottenham in the past few days after rumored recommendations from Fabio Parachiti.
For the newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi is also on Levy’s radar via Sport Witness.
The outlet says Tottenham has selected Inzagi as the finalist as the manager’s target, and its London rival Chelsea wants Maresca’s potential heir.
The £8.8 million a year tactician led the Inter to Scudetto last season, but was able to pip Antonio Conte’s Napoli in this year’s Serie a Crown, setting both sides for a fierce final day battle for the title.
Noise continues to surround his future after an impressive few years at Sanshiro as Inzagi is also preparing the inter for the Champions League final with PSG. If he becomes available, the “sparkly” manager is undoubtedly a standout name among the candidates of Levi’s rumors.
