Interestingly, Fabrizio Romano reported last summer that Garcia agreed to terms on his move to Arsenal, but his switch to the Emirates would eventually collapse, and it appears that Chelsea could try and succeed where Mikel Arteta failed.
The 24-year-old has already given a considerable name for himself in Spain. Football analyst Ben Matinson calls him an “exciting” keeper with a good physical profile. Garcia also fits the Young Value young signature mold with potentially high ceilings, and Chelsea is widely known for targeting such players.
