A major blow to royal challenger Bengaluru (RCB), Tim David of the explosive Australian national cricket team suffered a leg injury on Friday, May 23rd.
Tim David was injured in the 65th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Royal Challenger Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrise Hyderabad (SRH) at Barat Ratna Sri Bihari Ekana Cricket Stadium in Laknou.

Tim David injures the field
An explosive right-handed batsman, David has seen his bats and great touches during an ongoing season in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
He played some great innings while defeating the orders of royal challenger Bengaluru, and is one of the main reasons behind the franchise’s success in IPL 2025.
He also declared his availability until the final of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), but it appears he has been injured. This is a major blow to the rajat patidar-led side.
He was injured in the 20th SRH innings at Lucknow. On the first ball of the 20th, Yash Deir bowled a low-pad full toss on Ishan Kishan, who hit the ball to the left of the deep square leg.
David came running through to stop the ball and in the process he apparently pulled his hamstring. He quickly sought physics and left the field.

During the mid-inning break, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener Abhishek Sharma played Quick Fire Inning. Abhishek added that he and Travis Head were hoping to post a total of about 230-240. He said:
“When we (the head and ourselves) first played, we thought we had one of the best pitches of the year. We need to be aware of small mistakes somewhere. We need to take responsibility and take it all the way through.
Abhishek Sharma also received rich admiration for Ishan Kishan for his amazing innings of undefeated 94 runs, which helped Sunrise’s Hyderabad post a huge 231/6 total on the board. He said:
“We had a plan and we followed it (through the innings). The score is good. I think it was on hold from his (Kishan’s) side. He was talking about this, and this score was just amazing by Kishan.
