Arsenal is interested in signing Portuguese international attacker Rafael Rio from AC Milan at the end of the season.

According to the French publication Footmercato, they have a clear interest in the 25-year-old attacker, and Arsenal’s sports director Andrea Berta personally called the player 10 days ago.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal follows up on their interests with official offers signed to players. The 25-year-old is one of the best attackers in Italian football and he has proven himself in European tournaments as well. Leao has 25 target contributions this season.

Arsenal needs Rafael Leo

Leao could prove to be a useful acquisition for Arsenal, who is looking to add more quality and depth to the aspects. He is also linked to Chelsea.

Gabriel Martinelli has an overwhelming season, and Arsenal needs plenty of options at his disposal. Portugal International can operate as a winger on the left and as a centre on the front. His versatility would be an extra bonus for Arsenal if they can get the deal done.

The attacker is hailed as a “great player” by Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. There is no doubt that he has the physical and technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League, and he could become an important player for Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether the London Club will be able to negotiate a reasonable deal for him.

A report from a French publication claims that Leao had a mixed campaign with Italian costumes, claiming that the two parties could aim to pursue separate paths in the summer.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the coming weeks. Arsenal will need to improve their offensive forces if they are serious about winning the league title next season. Quality wide players and reliable centre forwards should be prioritized.
