The SGA is running an incredible 2024-25 NBA campaign. After winning the MVP, he was only able to achieve something by Michael Jordan and two other greats.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won 68 Oklahoma City Thunder during this regular season. Along the way, he claimed an NBA scoring title and was named MVP.

The praise is raining. Steve Nash, for example, responded to Shy’s big MVP victory. The 26-year-old is humbled by his victory, paying homage to two lightning legends in the aftermath.

However, the MVP is only part of the storyline this season. After OKC’s Game 2 victory, Gilgeous-Alexander and his teammates found themselves only two wins from the NBA Finals.

If they can win the championship after getting the job done in this round, the SGA will join a highly elite group of basketball legends.

Shai already has the highest record in the MVP, scoring title and bag league. All that remains is to win six games and win the championship.

If he can help him achieve lightning this season, he will become the fourth player in NBA history to do all this in the same season.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar first took this off in 1970-71 along with the Milwaukee Bucks. Shaquille O’Neal did it as well as the LA Lakers during the 1999-2000 season.

Michael Jordan is the only player to achieve this many times. Goats made their third campaign in 1997-98, after checking all four boxes again in 1995-96, in 1991-92.

MJ and Kareem are taking part in the goat conversation, and Shaq is widely considered to be the most dominant player to date. A great company for him to make it or Gilgauss Alexander to come in.

Thunder Guard truly rose during the 2024-25 campaign. Shai averaged 32.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game in the regular season.

Not only does he have these MVP numbers, but his shooting rates will also improve. He shot 50% efficient from the field, 35% from the 3-point range and 86% from the stripes.

In 13 playoff games, he is just as good. Gilgeous-Alexander averages 29.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.7 assists in the postseason.

If he added the NBA Championship this season, he could safely argue that he had one of the best individuals in league history. Now it’s time to finish my SGA job.
