Aprilia boss Massimo Ribora had a dull message for Jorge Martin as his team Marco Betzecchi won the British moto

MotoGP champion Martin was at home. He was abused in injuries amid doubts about his future.

Betzecchi profited from the misfortunes of Yamaha’s Fabio Cartalaro and took over the lead at Silverstone, turning it into the new manufacturer’s first victory.

However, Aprilia CEO Ribora wanted to immediately talk to Martin, who was absent.

“This is a message for Jorge. Our bikes can win,” Ribora said.

Martin surprised the MotoGP Paddock with a shocking talk that he could use the contract clause to quit Prilia in 2026.

There remains a question mark as to whether Aprilia can still give her time to prove the value of the project when Martin returns from his injury.

However, if he wasn’t present, Aprilia made a big statement in Silverstone.

No matter what vibe Martin returns, his relationship with Aprilia becomes a problem.

He will also return to the garage where his teammate, who already two race winners, won his first Aprilia victory in 2025.

“It’s amazing. The past month has been a really tough time for me,” Betzekki said.

“I started a new adventure. Aprilia trusted me. We work hard.

“We have had tough times in past races, but we never gave up.

“Thanks to them, the whole factory in Knoll.”
