Alexander Volkov was irritated by John Jones Holdup

In an interview with Championat, Alexander Volkov shared his complaints about the current situation in a photo of the UFC heavyweight title (translated by Deepl).

“Of course, as a fighter, I will negatively rate the delay in the Jones vs Aspinel fight. “In other weight classes, there is a real conveyor belt fight ongoing, so I’m not happy. So if it wasn’t for John Jones, I would have had the opportunity to test myself in the title fight long ago. But I can understand him.”

“If I had been wearing Jones shoes, his position, his goal to make as much money as possible, and his desire to fight when it’s convenient for him certainly continues to do so. Clearly, he’s doing something beneficial to him. That’s what everyone is waiting for.”

Jones teased the possibility of retirement, but he also suggests he will return to the octagon. At this stage, it is unclear that there is some degree of clarity in the heavyweights, but for now, even the top candidates are not sure when there will be a solution.
