Jones captured Gold in March 2023, but has as many title defense as the interim champion.

Jones teased the possibility of retirement, but he also suggests he will return to the octagon. At this stage, it is unclear that there is some degree of clarity in the heavyweights, but for now, even the top candidates are not sure when there will be a solution.
