The rebellious Anthony Edwards refused to admit that he had a bad performance in Game 4.

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost a Heartbreaker to the Oklahoma City Thunder at home. The Thunder currently has a 3-1 lead and has one win from the NBA Finals.

Anthony Edwards had a particularly poor night, earning just 16 points when he was inefficient. After Game 3 was not seen in Game 4, Hungry Edwards was praised.

But when you ask Anthony Edwards, he says he had a great performance and he didn’t have any trouble when it came to making a shot.

After the loss of Game 4 of the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards spoke about his performance.

Reporters used the term “fight” when describing Ali’s performance. The All-Stars quickly stepped in to close the story.

“I don’t see it like he (Randle) struggled. They had a good game plan and so they got us off the ball. It was very intense, especially for me.”

“I played right all night, so I don’t really see it like I struggled. I didn’t get enough shots to say I struggled. I didn’t struggle at all, I played right.”

Given how he played the past few years and the progress he has made, it’s easy to forget that Edwards is just 23 years old.

This moment in which he shows his lack of maturity reminds him that he still has a long way to go, not just as an athlete, but also when it comes to his mentality.

As the leader of the Timberwolves, Edwards is responsible for not only their success but also their failures. When he plays inadequately, he cannot hide his criticism.

Perhaps Edwards was just defensive given the high stakes situation in which the Timberwolves existed. But he needs to be better.
