“Anthony Gordon is still on their radar. He was one of Liverpool’s top names for a while. He was a young man from Liverpool and was previously in Everton.
They’ve also spoken about Wirtz, but it seems that the deal will happen and they’re approaching an agreement there. But that’s not going to stop them from looking at Gordon. They can leave a few players there, Diaz, Gakupo, Nunes and more, and their sales will open the door for Gordon to enter.
“If they keep those players, they don’t need both Gordon and Whartz. But if they don’t, Gordon is a player considering coming as a direct alternative to current attacking options that slots aren’t sure.”
The problem with Liverpool is that Newcastle is not under pressure to sell Gordon. I consider Gordon to be one of the best players. But nonetheless, there is still hope that England International will be able to wear red next season.
