Marc Marquez has issued the most concerning words ever about Ducati’s 2025 bike after the UK’s MotoGP.
As for the second Grand Prix, there was no winner at Ducati. This is far from the manufacturer’s control over the past three years.
Aprilia’s Marco Betzecchi took advantage of Yamaha’s Fabio Cartalaro to win the Silverstone victory on Sunday.
However, his problems were tough compared to Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez’s 2024 spec bikes, which finished fourth and fifth.
Mark Marquez had “bad feelings” in the Silverstone Ducati GP25

“The front tires felt terrible. They say ‘tires,’ but I don’t want to push them to Michelin,” Marquez said.
“On the front line, emotions were disasters.
“So (Saturday) we went soft on most of the grid.
“(Sunday) Most people went to the medium. We knew the medium wasn’t working well, but for some riders and some manufacturers, that was the only way to finish the race.
“The feelings weren’t the best, but we saved the day.
“When I got bigger at Turn 9, I came back and pushed the front and rear tires too much, and on the final lap they were finished.
“I tried to catch Johann Zarco, but there was too much risk.
“I know that the podium was important to Franco, but we defended it in a good way.”
Marquez also claimed he was angry with himself for an early crash fall – he got a second chance for a confused reopening.
He also revealed that his feelings about the original start were far better than a reboot when changing bikes and tires.
However, the GP25 issue is mounted.
Factory Ducati teammate Pecco Bagnaia has never really grasped the latest version of Desmosedici this season.
Gigi Dall’igna requested that Ducati’s “Everybody” play a role in supporting the revival of Bagnaia.
However, for the first time, Marquez discovered serious problems in the cold and windy conditions of Silverstone.
He was able to expand his lead 24 points above his siblings at the top of the MotoGP rankings.
MotoGP heads to Aragon the following weekend, where Marquez is on his home turf.
