Tennis star Francistier Four has set a clear restructuring path for the Washington Wizard.
The Wizard of Washington is one of the most overwhelming teams in recent years. After all, they have only made one postseason appearance in the last seven seasons.
The organization went from the John Wall Bradley Beale era to the Jordan Pool Kill Kuzma era.
However, the team has already moved from Kuzma as they are being treated by the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for veteran star Chris Middleton during the 2024-25 NBA season.
The wizard swapped for Middleton, but this decision was in line with plans to rebuild from scratch, rather than going into Win-Now mode.
That was evident from the franchise finish as the 15th seed of the Eastern Conference with an 18-64 record. This finish gave the Wizard the sixth pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
That being said, tennis star and Wizards fan Francistier Four recently shared his views on what the organization should do to compete in the NBA Championship.
“We’ve already started to get Khris Middleton () pretty well. I think the next thing we do is get rid of Jordan pool.
He added:
Poole finished the second season of his career with Wizard and his sixth overall season. If Washington changes the pool this offseason, he still has a bright future ahead of him.
So far, Poole has won the NBA championship with the Dubs in 2022, indicating that he can become an elite scorer, but it’s not a good first choice.
As for his numbers, he averaged 20.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. But one thing Poole needs to tackle is his shooting efficiency.
After all, he shot a somewhat overwhelming 43.8% off the field, while still maintaining a solid 37.8% from the 3-point line.
