Numerous reports from Portugal over the past two weeks claim that Arsenal has provided a sports contract for CP star Viktor Gyokeres (O Jogo), which is not yet backed up by sources close to home, but Sky Digrany believes Berta is holding a massive consultation with at least Swedish International.
However, reliable sources, including recent information, indicate that Sesko has emerged as the main central target.
Fabrizio Romano, for example, confirms that Arsenal was Slovenian International’s “specific” first talk, and that the deal is “on.”
Given that Arsenal missed Sesco last summer and January, it would be wise for Berta to continue testing the water for alternative options, as his price tag has now been moved to up to £93 million (telegraph).
Arsenal also has a “lecture” about Entracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitique
Eintro Hat Frankfurt sense and former PSG striker Hugo Ekitike is fresh from behind his outstanding full debut season in the Bundesliga and is also courted by Arsenal.
The Frenchman scored 22 goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances 24/7. Entracht valued him at around £84 million.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, he has been planning his exit for several months, taking him to X, Frankfurt and Ekitike, and Arsenal is “considered one of the aspects of the talks,” recalls the 22-year-old’s potential move.
“The Hugo Echicicke and the Frankfurt board have been planning a French striker transfer for months this summer,” writes Aouna.
“As revealed in March, several European clubs are already in talks, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.
“A meeting is scheduled for this week between Ekitique’s agents and Chelsea. Frankfurt is already looking for alternatives and open consultations with Jonathan Burcard.”
His exploits of his score in Germany show fierce talent that certainly only gets better.
