During X’s Q&A, fans asked Kevin Durant who would be winning the 7-game series between 2025 Oklahoma City Thunder team and the 2012 NBA Finals.
Surprisingly, Durant supported the 2025 team with his 2012 team.
“I’m not too big about the hypothesis (I don’t know), but this 2025 Thunder team is historically great. Overall it’s great shooting, (Shai), efficient scorer in size, athletic ability, all versatility, big and bruiser big, and great coaching.”
“It’s just a fully crafted unit. I have an approach to basketball. They put together some great films to learn.”

Kevin Durant is considered one of the greatest Oklahoma City Thunder players of all time. But his place is debate the best in the team’s history.
After he won the MVP Award, Kendrick Perkins was called the greatest Thunderer of all time, Shy Gilgauss Alexander, via Durant and Russell Westbrook.
Shy Gilgaus Alexander was able to solidify his spot at the top of OKC Mountain with his championship victory.
