Oaklawn promotes Zack Gilham to vice president of racing and betting, while Jason Milligan will step down from his current position as vice president of racing and assume the role of director of racing.

Gilham oversees all aspects of Oaklawn’s racing and sports betting activities in his expanded position. Over eight years as a member of the Oaklawn team, he recently served as executive director of betting, working hard to modernize and grow Oaklawn’s stakes. His previous roles include Directors of Sports and Mutuel Manager.

“Zack’s in-depth knowledge of both racing and betting, together with his proven leadership, is an ideal choice to take on this expanded role,” said Oak Lawn President Lewis Chera. “We look forward to helping him lead these key areas of our business and lead to the continued success of Oaklawn’s racing and betting programme.”

As Gilham stepped into his new role, Jason Milligan takes on the role of director of race after years of service as the vice president of races. Milligan has been the basis for Oak Lawn’s racing operations for the past 28 years. His vision and leadership helped to enhance the quality and reputation of Oaklawn’s racing program.

“We are grateful for Jason’s years of dedicated service and the pivotal role he has played in our success,” Chera said. “We are delighted to continue to contribute his expertise and passion to his new role as director of racing.”
