The crash, involving Peter Hickman, issued a red flag on the Isle of Man TT on Friday.
Hickman was reported as “conscious” after the accident and ended his actions on the mountain course that day.
A statement from the organizers has been confirmed. “Peter Hickman, with Bike No. 10, set out at Kerrowmoar during the lap of one of the TT 2025 third qualifying sessions.
“He is currently reported to be conscious and stable and has been aired and taken to Noble Hospital for further evaluation.
“A further updates of terms will be provided in time.”
The incident occurred at 6:40pm during a joint superbike/superstock/supersport qualifying session.
Peter Hickman “conscious and stable” after the man’s island TT crash
Before Friday, Hickman had posted the second fastest time in Superbike qualifying.
His 131.326mph at BMW was behind Davey Todd, the same machine who went to 132.673mph.
Hickman was also the second fastest in Superstock qualifying. His 132.29 mph was behind fellow BMW rider Dean Harrison’s 132.853 mph.
Riding on the victory, Hickman was the third fastest in Supersport Qualifiers. Harrison was the fastest, followed by Michael Dunlop.
Hickman is a 14-time race winner at TT and has recorded 136.358 miles two years ago, making him the fastest lap record holder ever at the event.
He was forced to put together the late 8ten Racing team that he co-founded with Todd for this year’s race.
The collapse of the FHO race meant that Hickman and Todd had a short time without getting on board.
Hickman and Todd were one of their favourites for winning this year’s race, along with Dunlop.
