Arsenal’s offense in 2024/25 has been exhausted over the past few months, with injuries significantly hampering their chances for a Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta often had to use the makeshift Front 3, as there were no Gabriel Jesus, Kai Herberts, or Bukayo Saka for the big spells of the campaign.
However, Gunners have scored 69 times in 38 matches this season, with only Liverpool and Manchester City scoring on England’s top flights.
Such injuries underscore the need for additional depth and quality of such departments, and the hierarchy must pass Arteta with funds to make the improvements he requests.
With summer approaching rapidly, the Spaniards can now land a star on the radar, increasing the chances of a title charge next season.
This summer, the latest on Arsenal’s hunt for a new signature
There’s a new centre forward at the top of Arsenal’s list over the past few months, and Benjamin Sesco is the latest player during the offseason.
It has been reported recently that Gunner is in consultation with RB Leipzig about the move of the 21-year-old Talisman, who currently has a £84 million clause in the contract.
However, according to the Spanish outlet, he is not the only attacker in direct contact with the hierarchy.
Their reports claim that Arteta’s side is facing a fight against fellow English side Liverpool for the signature of the 23-year-old, 23-year-old, who has registered 11 goals and support for this season.
He also said he has a release clause of 60 million euros (£50 million) on his contract with Lariga costume, and could move to North London this summer with teammate Martin Zubimendi.
Why Arsenal’s £50 million target will be a better signing than SANE
Despite interest in the aforementioned duo, Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane has also been mentioned as a potential option for Arsenal this summer.
The German, who registered 11 goals in the Bundesliga this season, is set to leave Allianz Arena at the end of June when his current contract ends.
The 29-year-old will be the focus of interest in North London rival Tottenham Hotspur, and could face an interesting transfer battle between the pair in the coming months.
Thane previously starred in the UK’s Top Flight, scoring 39 times in 135 appearances to Manchester City in his four-year spell at Etihad.
However, despite Bayern’s interest in attackers, Arteta should instead explicitly pilot and move Kubo.
The Sociedad star, labelled “world class” by former Barcelona boss Xavi, may have scored fewer goals this season, but manages better goals per shot rate at targets that showcase the clinical edge he has.
He also registers more take-ons with more progressive carry and more take-ons completed, highlighting the threat he posed with the ball at his feet, running in the opposition.

Kubo’s advantage doesn’t stop, increasing crosses around 90, increasing passes to the final third, and then others have the tools to support the attacking area.
Given the price differences this summer, it may seem like a bold call to move beyond Sane for Kubo, but he demonstrates at Laliga that he is a more impressive option for Arteta.
He is also six years younger than the Bayern star. If you complete a £50 million deal with the Emirates in the coming months, it could explode in life.
