Jones has not decided on the next move

When he appeared in “Deep Cut With Vic Blends,” Jon Jones was asked if fans could expect “another rodeo” within Octagon. Jones has not decided whether to wear gloves again to compete in the UFC (via MMAFighting).

“As long as life fights and competes, we don’t know what life holds,” Jones told Vic Blend when asked if he could expect “another rodeo.” “I feel like I’ll be a lifelong martial artist even if I coach other people, do exhibition matches and stuff like that. There’s still a lot of great competition in the UFC.

“I see myself as more than a fighter, and I feel like I have more options than many other fighters.

UFC CEO Dana White maintains optimism about being able to book Jones against Tom Aspinall at some point in 2025. The longer it takes to book the fight, the more fans and experts feel that Aspinall’s prime is wasted. It has yet to be seen whether White will eventually pull away from the fight.
