After more than two years on the shelves, Alan Nascimento returned to the octagon of the UFC Vegas 107, winning an impressive victory over Brazilian submission specialist Jafel Filho.
After a few minutes of striking each other, Fillo placed the nascimento on the mat and fell directly onto the mount. Nascimento manages to get Filio out of him and recovers, but the Brazilian quickly put him back on the canvas and takes him along the process.
Nascimento rolled onto his back and went straight into the guillotine choke, but Fillo was unable to force a tap before the end of the round.
Thirty seconds after the second stanza, Firyo put Nasimento back on the mat, but Nasimento reversed position after Firyo took the enemy’s back a little too high. Nascimento never allowed Fillo to descend from the ground.
In the third round, Nascimento controlled the action, restraining Filho’s attack, which was clearly exhausted in the final five minutes. Dominating the action in the last two rounds, Nascimento will win himself the crucial unanimous decision victory with his octagon return.
