Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been linked to his move to Brentford during the summer transfer period.

According to Sky Sports, Brentford has begun consultations with Liverpool to sign the now 26-year-old goalkeeper. The two clubs are reportedly locked up in sophisticated talks, and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to quickly reach an agreement.

Caoimhin Kelleher needs to go ahead

The 26-year-old must play regularly at this stage of his career, and the move to Brentford is ideal for him. Liverpool will not be able to accommodate him in the starting lineup next season.

The Irish goalkeeper is already behind Allison Becker, and in the order of pecking, when Giorgi Mamardashvili arrives, he even falls under the ladder. It would be ideal for him to move on and join a club where he becomes a regular starter. Brentford may be the ideal move for him.

They are considering replacing Mark Flekken, who is expected to join Bayer Leverkusen. It is still unclear whether Liverpool is ready to sell players. They will start to get a fair amount of money back for him. Kelleher is a standout backup goalkeeper for Liverpool, and his performance in the Cup competition is essential to his success in the national tournament.

The goalkeeper has been labelled “World Class” by Liverpool captain Vilgilvandick in the past. There is no doubt that he has the quality to succeed at Brentford, and he could be an important player for them.
