Leeds United are trying to improve their attacking force by signing Emiliano Buendia during the summer transfer period.

According to TBR Football, Leeds has been keen to sign a highly rated offensive midfielder this summer, and they discussed potential moves. He has been praised in the past as “great.”

Emiliano Buendia joins Leeds

Journalist Graeme Bailey has confirmed that players are open to join Leeds United and it will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done. Leeds is also monitoring the tabs for Gabriel Sarah and Gustavo Hammer.

Bailey told TBR Football:

“Leeds wants this No. 10 and they have options. They really liked Hammer as well, and they worked with Sarah. But at this point I think Buendia is the most likely.”

Leeds has secured promotion to the Premier League and are trying to do well on top flights next season. They try to establish themselves as Premier League clubs and need quality players for that to happen.

Buendia has not been able to establish herself as a key player at Aston Villa during her time at the West Midlands Club and is trying to prove herself in Leeds. There is no doubt that the technically talented midfielder has the quality to improve Leeds on offense. He creates goalscoring opportunities for teammates and helps them try to find the back of the net.

The players are still very much at the peak of his power, and he aims to return to his best. It is still unknown how the situation will develop. He could potentially be used for a reasonable amount this summer. Buendia was also linked to Leeds in January.

The players were impressed with the loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen late last season. He now tries to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football again.
