Vince Carter commented on Kevin Durant’s show two years ago for reasons he was perfect for Anthony Edwards

NBA legend Vince Carter has garnered great praise for Kevin Durant after his debut with the Phoenix Suns.

If rumors are believed, double NBA champion Kevin Durant leaves the Phoenix Suns and begins another new chapter in his career.

Well, in that case, this is the fifth franchise that KD will play in his career. However, given the fact that Durant still has a year left in his current contract, he has to demand trade to find a new home.

Many teams have been proposed as potential destinations for slim reapers, including the Toronto Raptors. The teams that Durant will be involved in are likely likely to make an impact, and that’s what NBA legendary Vince Carter believes.

When Durant was traded for the Suns, many people questioned Devin Booker and the roster’s fit. However, in his debut itself, KD silenced his critics with a 23-point performance with 10/15 shooting.

After seeing the Suns’ fantastic debut, Carter not only praised the former NBA MVP, but also welcomed him as a “selfish superstar” in the ESPN segment, which ESPN rose to in 2023.

“I think KD can play with anyone, any superstar and learned lessons to play with the Golden State Warriors. When he first arrived in Golden State, it was a bit bumpy,” Carter said.

He added: “…I found a way to play with other superstars and am I still himself? He took off.

Fast forward to ever, Durant is on the verge of leaving the sun, but can he really blame it? After all, he lifted the end of the bargain, but the Sands front office couldn’t build a strong roster around him.

The biggest reason behind their overwhelming stint is to undoubtedly take their depths and get Bradley Beale, who has a non-trade clause in his contract.

Come on the next thing after the slim Shinigami and how about trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves? The T-Wolves are facing back-to-back conference finals in the postseason.

Anthony Edwards has improved as a leader, but he still lacks a veteran presence on the roster and can take over the game if necessary.

Durant can be that teammate for him. Additionally, Timberwolves has assets to trade with KD, saving some spots due to the excellent supporting cast around the Durant-Edwards duo.

The 36-year-old selfish basketball style has had a great profit for Ali, and this may turn out to be the last piece missing from the puzzle.
