LONDON – 2022 Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios misses the Grand Slam tournament and other grass court season, he said Tuesday.

The 30-year-old Australian handles injuries in recent seasons, including wrist and knee manipulation.

He played only five singles matches in 2025, making it 1-4.

His latest tournament was at the Miami Open in March, winning his first match in nearly two and a half years.

“I hit a small set break while recovering, but unfortunately I’m not going back to this year’s grass season,” Kyrgios posted.

He is ranked 633rd. He was 13th in 2016.

Three years ago, at the All England Club, he had his best run in the major tournament by reaching the final before losing to Novak Djokovic.

Wimbledon will begin on June 30th.
