Dean Harrison “defeated the Hammer from the beginning” for the victory of TT Superstock on “Magic” Island

Dean Harrison, who has not had a victory since the 2019 Senior TT, won his fourth Man TT race in the 2025 edition of Superstock Race 1.

Harrison led early on, but he was quickly overhauled by Davey Tod, who won his first superbike race on Monday.

Todd had Harrison open for a few seconds midway through the first lap, but in the last two sectors Harrison was able to spend time, with the gap on the line being less than a second.

The British rider at Honda Racing set the best laps on the TT Mountain trail at 135.692mph, but Todd struggled with bike setup and transportation. Harrison ultimately won in 11 seconds.

“I put the hammer down from the start, read the pitboard, got a P1 on the first board, then a P2.

“The bike feels really good, so I changed a few things to do. The ones on the bike kit work really well and I’ve been dialing it all week.

“I’m third and second, so I have a 3-2-1.

“It’s magic to get another TT victory. You can’t thank your team enough. They’ve been working hard all week.

“So it’s great to pay them back with victory.”

Harrison added that he is even more pleased with his fourth TT victory, winning the world’s largest motorcycle road race since 2019.

“It’s been a long time. I’m a big winner for me now. It’s a big deal for me,” he said.

“Everyone was. I was second, second, so now it’s good to get a win. I’m over the moon.”
