Manchester United completed the signing of Masteus Kuña of the Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

The 25-year-old has stood out for the wolves this past season and he is trying to establish himself as a Manchester United player.

The Brazilian recently collected the Wolf Season Player Awards, but his teammate Matt Doherty chose to sniff him for the Season Award goal.

The wolf defender selected a goal from Jean Crickner Belgard against Nottingham Forest as his season goal. He also joked that Cunha is attracting all the attention, so the goal of the season award should be awarded to Belgard.

Doherty Snubs Cunha

Speaking about the Wolf Express podcast, Matt Doherty said:

It will be interesting to see if the wolves can properly replace Cunha during the summer transfer period. He has carried offensive troops all season, and they may have been easily relegated from the Premier League without him. They need to advance their trusty centers during the summer transfer period.

The Brazilian has proven himself to be one of the best offensive players in the league, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can help them win the trophy now. He clearly shows that he is enough to play for the largest club in the country, and the move to Manchester United is hardly a surprise.

Manchester United are undergoing a disappointing Premier League campaign and are aiming to bounce back strong next season. Players like Cunha certainly help them bounce back.
