Shreiyas Iyer looked absolutely ecstatic after making a great catch to dismiss Phil Salt in the ongoing IPL 2025 final between the Punjab Kings and royal challenger Bengaluru at Narendra Modi Stadium.
The match began with a good note for Shreyas Ayer when he picked up a toss and first bowled. The second batting is undoubtedly a major advantage as the batter is likely to control the lawsuit. Arshdeep Singh has opened the Punjab-based costume attack to the title decider.

Salt gave RCB a fiery start
Phil Salt made his intentions clear by taking on Arshdeep in the first over. The RCB opener hit Pacer with 6 and 4 in the first over to help the RCB collect 13 runs. Salt also started with a good note, hitting the second ball with four from Kyle Jamieson.
But Jamieson had the man on the next ball thanks to a great catch under pressure from Shreyas Iyer. It was a lengthy delivery from the New Zealand star, and Salt wanted to play big, but Schreyers Iyer made a mistake in his shot towards mid-on, where he settled down and completed a great catch.

The PBKS skipper seemed absolutely energized after taking the big ticket gate. Iyer usually shows no emotion on the field, but after doing salt catches, he couldn’t stop himself from making roars. The English star left after scoring 16 runs from nine balls.
