Merab Dvalisvhili has an idea as to who the next title challenger will be if he defeats Sean O’Malley again.
Dvalishvili is looking for the second successful defense of the UFC Bantamweight Championship. He captured gold by recording the unanimous decision victory over O’Malley, followed by a successful title defense against Umar Nurmagomedov. Dvalishvili is hoping for a competitive battle with “Suga” in the rematch.
If the “machine” holds gold by the end of UFC 316, he believes he knows who his next candidate is.

Merab dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen?
Sports reporter Manuk Akopian recently took footage of a scrum held for Merab Dvalishvili after an open training session. Dvalishvili revealed that he hopes to face Cory Sandhagen after UFC 316.
“If I try to compete in two more times this year, I’ll be happy,” Dvalishvili said. “Coley Sandhagen is ready for me and we’ve never fought against each other. He’s a great competitor and he’s fighting with everyone. He has a good style.
Sandhagen is in fourth place, the UFC bantamweight division. Before him is a fighter plane that Dvalishvili has lost. As the 135 pound title holder said, it will be a new matchup. Sandhagen made it 4-1 on his final five outings. The only defeat was against Umar Nurmagomedov.
