According to Fabrizio Romano, Jadon Sancho’s days at Manchester United appear to be preparing to part ways with the winger.
The 25-year-old is reportedly willing to sell United’s group this summer to raise funds for a new signature as part of the team’s overhaul.
The English Winger was sent on loan at Chelsea at the start of the season, and despite players contributing to the success of the conference league, Bruce decided not to sign him forever this summer.
Chelsea and Sancho failed to reach an agreement on the Winger wage package and ultimately decided to pay United a penalty to send the Winger back to Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho is back from Chelsea
Despite the flash of quality from his time at Stamford Bridge, differences in opinion regarding pay and overall financial terms have disrupted negotiations for a permanent move. As a result, Sancho is scheduled to return to Old Trafford at the end of June, but only temporarily.
Romano provided the update with his X account:
“Jadon Sancho doesn’t expect to be staying at Manchester United this summer.
“He is on the list of players available to sell to generate funds and reinvest in various signatures.
Sancho Camp will evaluate upcoming day/week options. ”
United are keen to reshape their team this summer after a turbulent 2024-25 season, which finished 15th in the Premier League and lost the Europa League final against Tottenham under their evolving football operational structure led by Ineos and Ir Jim Ratcliffe.
Sancho has no future for Man United
Sancho representatives are expected to explore fresh opportunities in the coming weeks, and his man can’t avoid a united exit.
Sancho’s market value has been a hit since its arrival at £73 million in 2021, but his age and talent make him a potentially appealing proposition for clubs looking for a creative wide player.
United captain Bruno Fernandez also linked his move away from the club where Al Hilal on the Saudi side was interested in signing him, but the Portuguese midfielder decided to stay at Old Trafford to continue his impressive career on the Premier League side.
As Bryan Mbuemo shows his intention to join Red Devils, more players will be offloaded this summer, especially in attacking positions, allowing them to make way for new signatures.
