Former two-weight Bellator MMA champion Patricio Pitbull is reportedly lined up for his second Octagon outing later this year, and will face perennial featherweight competitor Dan Ige at UFC 318 on July 19th. From Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Pitbull, who made the promotional bow in April, suffered a unanimous decision loss against former interim champion Yair Rodriguez in the pair’s pivotal pairing at UFC 314 in Miami.

As for IgE, the current 14th-ranked featherweight contender has been on the sidelines ever since facing Sean Woodson on the same Florida card, stopping the highly-known contender in a knockout victory in the third round.

Patricio Pitbull is set to fight Dan Ige in UFC 319

News of Patricio Pitbull’s return to Dan Ige was first reported by Leo Guimarè on social media this Tuesday night.

Pitbull, who entered the UFC following a gold-loaded stint with Brazilian veteran Bellator MMA, landed gold at both featherweight and light weight restrictions.

And Pitbull, who experienced his third loss in his four walks in combat sports in his decision loss to Rodriguez, turned into a successful featherweight title defense against Jeremy Kennedy.

Ige was an impressive 19 career victory with Lellon Murphy, who snapped a two-game losing skid to both Diego Lopez, then knocked out Woodson earlier in the year.

UFC 319 will be held on July 19th. From the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, there is the iconic BMF title fight to win main event honors for former featherweight champion Max Holloway and retired former interim lightweight gold holder Dustin Polyeste.
