Manchester United received a huge boost in their pursuit to sign new attackers this summer.
The Red Devils have already secured the signature of Mateus Cunya from the Wolves, and they also made the offer to sign Brian Mbuemo from Brentford.
This shows Reuben Amorim’s intention to sign off on attacks this summer, attacking players in order to improve all the club’s standards and address Old Trafford’s goalscoring issues.
The Giants in the Premier League scored only 44 goals in the league last season. This is one of the poorest records in the league.
A new addition was needed in the attacking position, and it was clear that early this summer the Red Devils had proven to be determined to resolve the issue.
Reuben Amorim wants to be a gyoker
Of the many attackers linked to the move to Man United this summer, one of them is the former striker of Sportvictor Gyoker’s Amorim.
The attacker has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the football world.
He scored 54 goals in 52 appearances last season, scoring at the top level.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that the attackers were eager to move to Old Trafford, giving United the necessary boost to sign him.
Jacobs told the United Stand: “My understanding is that Victor’s Gyoker is very keen on moving to Man United if he can pull it off financially.
“I don’t think Gyoker will go over £300,000 a week. So, if Rashford and Sancho do, they have wage bill space to invest in these players, so if you bite a bullet with transfer fees and agent fees, you can configure it in a way that you can start next year and get it in flexible installments.
Man United shows ambition this summer
Signing a player like Gyoker will make United a feared offensive power next season.
As he has already signed Cunha to add creativity to the side, while also chasing impressive goal scorer Mbuemo from his wide offensive position, United’s pursuit and Gyoker’s signature possibilities will send a message to his rivals for next season.
It also shows that they can attract the best players in the world without European football at the club next season.
Along with United, Napoli and Arsenal are also interested in Gyoker’s moves.
