Many hypercar manufacturers have received a notable boost ahead of this month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, following the release of an updated performance balance by the FIA and ACO.

Newcomers Aston Martin and WEC’s stubborn Toyota are permitted to run Le Mans Hypercars at 520kW, below 250km/h. This is permitted under regulations.

For Toyota, this shows a 12kW increase compared to last year, when the GR010 Hybrid finished second and fifth in the French Endurance Classic.

Le Mans winner Ferrari’s defense was handed over a 4kW power increase and increased the 499p output from 508kW to 512kW.

BMW’s M Hybrid V8 received 2kW bumps at 510kW, but both the Alpine A424 and Cadillac V-Series.R grew to 517kW.

There is no change to the Porsche 963, which holds a 511kW output. Meanwhile, Peugeot suffered a minor 1kW reduction, dropping its basic power to 517kW.

After the temperature exceeds 250km/h, Stage 2 power adjustment is also applied. BMW benefits from a 2% power increase beyond this threshold, while Porsche receives 1.4% gain.

All other manufacturers were given reductions in Stage 2, and Ferrari received their biggest hit.

The minimum weight requirements for the Hypercar class have also been adjusted. The Alpine and Cadillac carry extra kilograms compared to 2024, while the Ferrari and Porsche are each given a 1kg break.

Peugeot’s 9×8 was given an 8kg reduction, which reduced its weight from 1047kg to 1039kg.

Although the Toyota minimum weight remains the same, at 1053kg, the GR010 Hybrid remains the heaviest car in the hypercar field.
