England manager Thomas Tuschel was clearly not happy with his players after a 1-0 victory over Andorra on Saturday evening.
Harry Kane won three lions, but that was far from a compelling performance against weak opposition.
Tuchel is clearly aware that a tougher test is coming, and he bumped into his players’ attitude in the game.
However, the German tactician reserved the praise of Chelsea’s winger Noni Madue.
Madueke still works his way to become an English regular, but he has fully explained himself to Andorra.
How important is Noni Maduce to Chelsea and the UK?
Maduke hasn’t always guaranteed a Chelsea starter during the season, so he hasn’t seen what the future holds for him for the club and country.
The 23-year-old needs to be more regular at the club level to establish further with the English team with a lot of competition.
Madueke had a chance today as Bukayo Saka finished the game, but the Arsenal winger will likely continue as the first choice for that position.
Noni Maduke could leave Chelsea
Speaking to the Metro, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel suggested that he could see Madueke leaving Chelsea this summer.
“Enzo knows Noni can do better. He knows there are a lot more out there,” Mikel said.
“I put it on occasion, but I think he can do better. If he’s a player who has to let go to take another top winger, that’s not a bad idea, but for me, he’ll protect him and bring someone else.
“Because the talent is there. But he needs to be on a week a week. The manager knows better than anyone else. He must have seen something he’s never seen before. I don’t know how he trains, how he applies, or if that happens.
