UFC legend John Jones has reportedly been offered a fight with Tom Aspinel, according to UFC President Dana White.
As we know, John Jones is the UFC heavyweight champion. However, he doesn’t seem particularly interested in fighting interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinel. For some reason, the fight continues to be delayed – despite the fact that it is now one of the biggest battles played in mixed martial arts.
John Jones appears to have had a great time teasing the public over the past few days and weeks. He continues to tweet as much as his rights and as much as he wants, but he is upsetting many people along the way. Whether you love him or you hate him, there is no denying that he now has a world of mum in his palm.
Anyone who doesn’t seem to keep up with how things are going is nothing but UFC President Dana White. Instead, he focuses on the simple business that runs the UFC. At a postwar press conference following UFC 316 last night, he spoke to John Jones’ situation and where he now understands it.
Dana White’s thoughts on John Jones/Tom Aspinel Fasco
“Did he say he’s ready to open his belt? f*cking crazy,” White told reporters, including MMA Junkie. “I was busy. I haven’t caught up with gossip. He’s back today, or he’s back yesterday or anytime. He’s in Thailand. He’s at home. He’s at home tonight. I’ll get this on Tuesday.”
“John Jones agreed to fight,” White said. “John Jones was offered a contract and accepted it.”
