UFC 316 Results: Merab Dvalishvili Stops Sean O'Malley (Video)

It covers all of tonight’s UFC 316 results, including the Bantamweight Title Fight Rematch between Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O’Malley.

Dvalishvili (20-4 MMA) will compete for the first time since winning his first successful title defense against Umar Nurmagomedov at the UFC 311 event in California in January. “The Machine” enters tonight’s headlining with 12 consecutive victories, including victory over former UFC champions Petr Yan, Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo.

Meanwhile, Sean O’Malley will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since dropping the UFC Bantamweight title to DvalishVili at UFC 306 last September. Before that set-up, Suga was on a streak of unbeaten wins in seven races.

One of the UFC 316 main events begins, with Sean O’Malley moving forward immediately. Merab Dalishvili using many movements as usual. This Newark crowd is very pro-O’Malley. Former champion with an attempt at spinning back kicking. Merab aims to close the distance. Jabs and “Suga” keep him at bay. In return, dvalishvili on the left. Still, “The Machine” is pushed against you, going into a takedown and getting it. The champions are taking down the “Suga” full guard and punch. Excellent control and volume from Dvalishvili.
