It seemed very likely that Victor Osimhen would play for Al Hilal this summer and complete his transfer in time to represent them at the FIFA Club World Cup, but multiple reports have shown that talks between the Saudi Arabian club and the Nigerian striker have fallen.
Al Giral even agreed to pay Naples’ demand of 75 million euros, offering a very lucrative personal terminology believed to be around 30 million euros per season. They are now rushing to get another striker in time for the Club World Cup, but Osimhen’s future remains uncertain.
The 26-year-old spends 2024/25 lending in Galatasaray, and the Turkish club is keen to keep him in Istanbul forever. It remains to be seen whether they can do something about what Al-Hilal couldn’t do. An agreement is reached with both Naples and Osimchen.
If Osimhen remained in Napoli’s book this summer, he would have entered the final year of his contract there.
