Yamba Yamaha checks the movement of Top Rack Postrio Grumot Tops in 2026

Toprak Razgatlioglu will be joining the Pramac Yamaha team next season. By then he will be 29 years old.

The two-time World Superbike Champion ends his time at BMW as a result. This created the first World SBK title of the Bavarian brand in 2024 and the second partnership between Razgu Trioglu and the first to win with Yamaha in 2021.

The Razgatlioglu contract will only keep him at Yamaha for the 2026 season. This means that both parties will be open to continue or end the collaboration after the first year, but perhaps, more importantly, ahead of the 10-year MotoGP regulatory changes in 2027.

Yamaha Welcome Top Rack spoke

“We are excited to bring Top Lac Laz Gatrioguru back to the Yamaha family,” said Paolo Pavesio, managing director of Yamaha Racing.

“Toprack, the most winning Yamaha rider of all time on superbikes, has proven to be an extraordinary talent, securing the WorldSBK title twice.

“His transition to MotoGP is ‘homecoming’, an exciting new challenge, set with clear goals for progressive growth over time.

“His fighting spirit and determination fits both the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team and Yamaha’s bold MotoGP strategy. So I think 2026 is a good time to make the move that many fans have been waiting for.”

Of course, the Razgatlioglu movement means the departure of one of Pramac’s current riders, Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira.

Mirrors are a clear option. His contract expires at the end of this year, but he was also the rider of two performances this year.
