Cooper Flag is a headline grabbing name, but the 2025 NBA Draft has some good outlooks in a small positive.
With the NBA Draft just a few weeks away, teams are preparing players they plan to select on the pick.
Positions like shooting guards are more stacked, but this year’s draft class has strong prospects in almost every position.
No player was able to attract more attention and create excitement than the Cooper Flag. The Duke standout is the rock that goes first in the whole.
As a major advance in the draft, Cooper Flag set the bar very high. However, there are other players who show many possibilities.

These are outstanding prospects for small forwards heading into the draft. Of all of them, Cooper Flag is the only player who is the lock chosen for the lottery.
Flagg is not only outstanding in his position, but not an outstanding overall draft class. That brings a lot of pressure. Dwight Howard hopes Flag doesn’t worry.
All the rest are considered medium first round picks. Because low teams in Pecking order appear to add some rotation pieces to the roster.
Of course, there can be shocks on the day of draft. But don’t expect many of these players to climb the ladder of mock trade.
