The former NBA star, who played under Dallas’ Jason Kidd, is more suited to the New York Knicks than Tom Thibodeau, and heavier on head coaching.

The New York Knicks hope Jason Kidd will be his next head coach. They see Kid as a coach who can take Kid to the next level after letting go of Tom Thibodeau.

But will Kid take the Knicks to the NBA Finals? One NBA player who played under Kidd for Mavericks believes he is not that much an upgrade over Thibodeau.

Los Angeles Lakers star Marquief Morris spoke during his first take and saw Jason Kidd as the New York Knicks’ next head coach.

He claimed that his experience playing under the Kid for the Mavericks showed him that he was no longer in the league as a coach than Thibodeau. From Kidd’s point of view, the move towards the Knicks disrupts his system and is not a wise idea.

“I played for J-Kid so I don’t really know if he’s stepped up that much from Thibodeau. They are both great coaches.

I think it means a lot to be connected to the players on the other side of basketball. I think that’s more important than putting them on top, as they’re both great coaches.

“J Kidd was right in the Western Conference Finals last year. J-Kid has all the tools in Dallas, so for me I don’t think this move is smart Because you know everything and feel comfortable with the system. I just think you’ll move it forward. ”

All stories of Jason Kidd could have been the next head coach of the New York Knicks could have been pointless.

NBA insider Shamscharania reported hours ago The Mavericks rejected the Knicks’ request to interview Kidd about his position.

This rejection is the latest. Because the Rockets and Timberwolves denied the Knicks the opportunity to interview Imedoka and Chris Finch respectively.

The Knicks will likely be forced to look for options for other coaches. Chris Brussard has endorsed Johnny Bryant as a potential candidate, citing his experience under Cleveland’s Kenny Atkinson and his time on Thibodeau’s coaching staff with the Knicks.

If you want to see the Knicks inside, Rick Branson, the guy who replaced Bryant when he took up a job with the Cavaliers, could be an option.

It’s time for the Knicks to see less established names. Because famous coaches are not available to them.
