Tyrese Haliburton gave an impressive performance in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The Indiana Pacer point guard scored 22 points, grabbed nine boards and announced 11 assists in the evening, shooting 52.9% off the field.
Fans thanked Benedict Matlin for his 27-point performance from the bench.
TJ McConnell played an equally important role, scoring 10 points off the bench and stealing the ball five times in the game.
The Pacers bench scored 49 points. This was 31 higher than the one made by the OKC Thunder bench unit.
Halliburton scored 17 after poor performance in Game 2, but only took 13 shots and turned the ball over five times.
It took a big response from him to get the chance to win Game 3. That’s exactly what they got from their stars.
Like all other teams, Pacer performs better when Tyrese Haliburton has a big night.
He wasn’t out of a star in Game 1, but the game winners over Halliburton’s Cason Wallace helped them secure the victory.
In Game 3, Halliburton scored 22 points and scored 11 assists. That is, the Pacers won when the 20th point guard scored 20+ and made 10+ assists.

The team only lost once when Halliburton went over 20 or 10+ assists in both this year’s playoffs and regular season.
These numbers show how important he is to the team, and although Halliburton has been criticized for having several off-games, there aren’t many players who can surpass him when he shows up.
Halliburton was previously named one of the most overrated players in the NBA.
However, Miles Turner said that Halliburton’s playoff run proved to be a false statement.
He averages 18.6 ppg and 9.4 APG, but he made some big clutch shots for his team.
Despite his brilliance, Halliburton has heard a lot of criticism, but he revealed how he focused on his game rather than hearing external noise.
“They couldn’t be so honest about what they really knew about basketball,” said Halliburton while talking about critics on television.
“It is most important to see me get better, and reflecting myself, I talk a lot with trainer Drew and coach Carlisle and all of those people, that’s a constant conversation that I can get better.
“There’s decline and flow. I’m never great and I’m not going to consistently shoot lots of shots. There are games that I don’t. You can find the right balance between the two, but experience is the best way you can learn from it,” added Halliburton.
