Real Madrid officially announced the signature of Franco Mastantuono from the River Plate this afternoon on the club’s website.

The official statement of the Spanish Giants confirms that Mustantouno has moved to the Bernabeu with a contract running from August 14, 2025 to June 30, 2031.

The 17-year-old also had interests from people like Chelsea and Arsenal, but as previously reported Catch off sidethere was a long sense that Real Madrid was his signature favorite.

Mustandono to Real Madrid is another exciting signature this summer as they brought in Los Blancos’ Dean Huizen and Trent Alexander Arnold this summer.

Franco Mustantouno’s impressive career

Although Mustantouno is still young and learning the game, he has already made quite an impression in his youth and he will undoubtedly be considered an exciting signature for Madrid’s future.

As the Real Madrid website points out, the teenager is already the youngest scorer in River Plate history and the youngest exterior maker ever in Argentine national team history.

This is clearly a very special outlook we are looking at here, and it’s no wonder Real Madrid moved quickly to beat Chelsea, Arsenal and others to his signature.

Franco Mustantouno must wait for Real Madrid’s debut

Unfortunately for real fans, it will be a bit more time to see Mastentuono making his club debut.

Young people will participate in August when they turn 18. This means that you will miss this summer’s Club World Cup tournament on Xabi Alonso’s side.

But this highly promising talent should prove someone worth the wait. Madrid supporters will certainly be pleased that the club’s building looks very good for the future.

Mustantouno joins the younger talents of other elites, such as the Bernabéu Endric and Huyssen, but others, such as Vinicius junior and Eduardo Camavivavia Island, were also joined at an early age, and was able to develop into a major player on the first team.
