The Immersive (2-5) broke sharply, but Anna’s promise was sent out to set a fast pace soon. Immersive spurred pace early on the inside of its enemy, with Princess Aliya and Immersy closing out a compact field of four on the next flight. During the backstretch, Anna’s promise swayed to a clear lead, while the immersive track was tracked right inside Milady, the taker.

Approaching the far turn, the immersive was bottled behind Anna’s promise and inside Mirady, the taker, the latter running first under jockey Brian Hernandez, junior.

Mirady, who was in charge, countered everything that was found immersive. She stood on the ground, taking her final step, crossing her neck and over the wire in front of her favorite. It ranged from immersive to the third promise of pacesetter Anna, with Princess Aliya three more in fourth place. Both Minnesota Manny and escape were scratched.
