From 2024-25, the Philadelphia 76ers derailed the season with an injury. Their 24-58 record was the third in the Eastern Conference.

Veteran PG Kyle Lowry missed 47 games due to injuries. Last season was his first full year against Philadelphia. NBA insider Keith Pompei has reported that the forecast for 2025-26 is Raleigh. That will be his 20th professional season.

Kyle Lowry has expressed his desire to play another season in the NBA

During the 2023-24 season, the Heat swapped Kyle Lowry for the Hornets. The former NBA champion did not join Charlotte, but entered the acquisition market. His hometown team in Philadelphia intervened and signed Raleigh for the rest of the year. He played 23 games and started 20 times with the Six at the end of the 2023-24 season. In the production they saw, the 76ers gave Raleigh a one-year $3.3 million deal.

However, Kyle Raleigh’s first full year in Philadelphia did not go as planned. The six-time All-Star missed 47 games due to injuries. He played 35 of his 82 games and made 12 starts. Lowry averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. NBA insider Kei Sponpei reported that 2025-26 forecasts will return for his 20th season in 2025-26. He detailed Laurie’s desire to come back and play in his 20th Milestone season. In the history of the league, only 11 players have played for over 20 years.

There is no denying that Kyle Lowry is nearing the end of his professional career. Nevertheless, the Sixers still consider him a valuable veteran presence on their roster. Laurie is an incredible mentor to Tyreese Maxey and Jared McCain. Heading into 20 years, Laurie cannot rely on an increase in roles. He will probably only play for punks or if the team is injured in PG. During the 2025 offseason, we’ll see if Kyle Lowry and Six agree to another deal.
