Report: Arsenal was blown further amid “frustration” with over £60 million transfer saga

Arsenal reportedly suffered further blows from the transfer of sports Lisbon striker Victor Gyoker.

According to the Daily Mirror, Swedish prolific international is set to become Juventus’ top target, planning to plummet for him this summer.

Gyoker clearly has no shortage of suitors in this transfer window. Catch off side I also received information yesterday about other clubs of interest.

In an exclusive Gyokeres report, the source said:

  • Interested clubs will not pay Gyoker 100 million euros
  • Gyoker and his representatives are not satisfied with Sporting’s stance and hope to be able to push Sporting to accept near 75 million euros
  • The clubs of interest confirmed are Arsenal, Mann United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Mirror also cites Arsenal’s “frustration” in his sports posture about Gyoker this summer.

Is Viktor Gyoker worth all the hype?

The Gyokeres have been an absolute target machine since moving from Coventry City to Sport two years ago.

The 27-year-old holds an astounding record of 97 goals in just 102 matches for the Portuguese Giants. It’s a number that’s hard to ignore, even if he’s not playing in the most competitive league.

The Gyokeres also fairly impressed the Champions League, scoring a hat-trick in the sport’s 4-1 victory at Manchester City last season.

Ultimately, we need to wait to see how this leads to playing in a bigger club and a more competitive league.

Arsenal needs a striker

Gyoker’s numbers look like what Arsenal needs, even if there are other attractive options.

Benjamin Sesco is young, one of the Big Five Leagues in Europe and unlike Gyoker, he has already shown what he can do.

But given how much Arsenal struggled with goals last season, Gyoker would certainly be a valuable addition, even if he only scores half of the goals he currently nets for Portugal.
