One of the UFC fighters, who has been under severe scrutiny from fans, has denied claims that he flops.

Rodolfo Berato and Paul Craig UFC Atlanta

Rodolfo Berato shared the octagon with veteran veteran Paul Craig on Saturday at the UFC Atlanta Card. Things turned at the end of the opening round. Craig led to an illegal upkick. Berato fell on the canvas and he appeared to be knocked out of the blow. This gave us a no-contest ruling. However, fans have criticized Berat, pointing out that he complained to the judge before he became unconscious.

Berat spoke about people he believes is looking for an exit.

Rodolfo Bellato responds to accusations of floping

In a new post on her Instagram page, Rodolfo Bellato vehemently opposed those who felt they intentionally milked the foul in the hopes of winning a disqualified victory.

“God knows everything! To everyone who supports me, I am healthy and I will be back soon, thank you very much!

“And I was looking at some things on the internet, I was there and said things like that… At the moment I was on the ground, I didn’t think I’d get kicked in the face (illegally)…it was a strong kick.

“Everyone I know for a long time, I know I never did it, never ran away from the war. I’ve weighed twice in a row, under 30 days.

“Thank you to all of you for your positive message. God in charge.”

We still don’t see what will happen next for Berat and Paul Craig. Whether UFC Matchmakers are interested in re-booking battles will be a story to watch in the coming weeks.
