Sunderland approaches “outstanding” EFL stars to sign

5 Min Read

Sunderland may not be on a Premier League adventure with Job Bellingham on his nerves, but at least Regis Le Bliss still calls for Chris Rigg.

Surprisingly, Rig is only 18 years old despite featuring the huge 47 times last season, which won the Le Bliss Promotion Awards last season.

The teenage sense has attracted a lot of attention from high-up suitors. Therefore, Manchester United was reportedly keen to add a Breakout Black Cats star to the once star-studded camp.

But with Bellingham gone, Sunderland has to do everything in their power now to keep the rig in a stadium of light in the near future.

Interested in moving Sunderland Rigg 2.0

Le Bliss was able to land the next iteration of the rig with a new target this summer – someone three years older than the rig – is currently on the radar.

In fact, according to a new report from Sportsboom, Sunderland is making its first inquiry about the landing of the emerging West Bromwich Midfielder Isaac Price.

Burnley and Portsmouth are also named for having a conversation about energizing young Northern Irish people, but Sunderland’s glittering track record with up-and-coming talent can shake Price’s decision-making and swap West Midland for wearside.

Price shows a flash of excellence from his short stay at Hawthorn so far, but he was able to find out that his game is truly being promoted by moving to the Stadium of Light.

It could be Le Bliss’ next rig

Rigig was in and around Senior Mix before Le Bliss arrived, but he didn’t regularly seduce the Sunderland public until the lively boss hit the door. It’s fair to say he certainly has it now.

The teenager was excited at the stadium of light with promising displays in the youth circle for a while, but his first real breakout season on the senior side just came to this campaign.

Surprisingly, it coincides with reaching promotion. Rig is now alongside his new potential teammates who are desperate to prove himself in the Premier League and equally eager to cut teeth at the elite level.

Like the 18-year-old starlet, Price has been in the spotlight since he was a very young child, with Northern Ireland’s senior team making his debut at the age of 19.

Since then, this has proven to be a wise call. This is already six strikes, given that the promising buggy number 21 is up to six strikes on the national side, despite receiving only 16 caps.

He also showed why West Brom ran out the rumoured £2.5 million to win his service this January.

He was able to kick more at Le Bliss on his side, and seeing what the lively boss managed on the rig, the flexibility of Price playing in numerous positions also brought out similarities with the Red Devil and linked youth. Last season, the 18-year-old was in a fierce line-up as a center forward five times.

Called “outstanding” by former teammate Asmir Begovic, Price was a teenager with wide-eyed eyes at Everton, and this could finally be the time for the Pontefract-born ace to prove himself in the Premier League.

Sunderland’s approach to gifting up-and-coming young people has worked incredible numbers in many minutes in the past.
