Can Alex Pereira miss out on the battle for the next UFC Light Heavyweight title?

Pereira lost 205 pounds of gold to Magomiodo Ankaraev in March. “Poatan” struggled to deal with Ankaraev’s forward pressure, leading to a unanimous decision loss. Shortly after the fight, a post about Pereira’s social media accounts surfaced. In the post, the account criticized the UFC, but he later deleted the post and claimed it was hacked.
Is there anything more than just eye-opening?

Jiri Prochazka doesn’t predict an instant title fight for Alex Pereira
Talking to the complete violence, Jiri Prochazka laid out his time slot for his return to the octagon. He also shared his belief that Alex Pereira will not be involved in the upcoming UFC title fight for £205 (via Mmamania.com).
“August, October, that’s what it is,” he said of his return. “I don’t think Pereira is going to fight (Ankaraev), so my manager is trying to continue negotiating a fight with Ankaraev. If Pereira fights him, I’ll fight someone else, but then I’m focusing on Ankaraev.”
Prochazka and Ankalaev threw barbs on social media. Prochazka believes Ankalaev’s downfall could be overconfident.
“He has a big mouth. He’s a big mouth guy,” Prochazka said. “I really don’t care (the guy who runs his Twitter). I really don’t care because now he wanted to stop him and did enough to take him seriously. This is not the way the champions talk.
