Chula Vista, California – Anica Sorenstam shot a 3-under 70 on Thursday to take the primary spherical lead on the US Senior Girls’s Open on the San Diego Nation Membership.
Sorenstam received the event in 2021 after profitable the US Girls’s Open titles in 1995, ’96 and 2006. The 54-year-old Swede has received the LPGA Tour 72 occasions.
“I am very happy with the primary spherical,” Sorenstam stated. “I felt it was fairly stable from the tee to the inexperienced. I believe it was just a few good strategy photographs on the best facet of the flag, which may be very helpful on this course.”
