Legendary blended martial arts coach Ray Longo, who has coached a complete of 4 UFC champions, simply celebrated one other historic second final Saturday at UFC 320 when his newest protégé, Merab Dvalishvili, efficiently defended his bantamweight title.

Merab is a storm
“I assumed he seemed nice within the first spherical. Even after he virtually received knocked out, he got here again,” Longo mentioned of Corey. “It was an incredible, aggressive battle. One man is relentless and unstoppable. He is beginning to confuse issues much more and add new threats, which is de facto scary.”
Longo went on to reward Merab: “He could be having essentially the most enjoyable in that Octagon that we have ever seen. That is the important thing for me.”
Kenny Florian continued with a poetic response: “Destiny whispers to Merab Dvalishvili, “You can’t stand the storm,” and Merab is the storm.”
