2025 Jerez World Superbike test results: Nicolo Brega fastest on day one, Ducati

Superbike World Championship runner-up Nicolo Brega dominated Ducati’s first day of post-season testing in Jerez.

Nicolò Brega, who misplaced to BMW’s Toprak Razgatlioglu within the Jerez ultimate final Sunday, has already set his sights on the 2026 world title after the primary day of post-season testing.

He confirmed overwhelming power on the 2026 Panigale V4 Ducati, setting a greatest time of 1 minute 38.027 seconds, main Yamaha’s new rider Xavi Vierge by 1.110 seconds.

Brega was chased by the Yamahas, led by Vierge, adopted by Stefano Manzi, Bahattin Sofoglu and Andrea Locatelli.

BMW’s main Michael van der Mark was sixth, with Iker Lecuona 1.662 seconds behind his new teammate Brega at sister manufacturing facility Ducati.

Kawasaki’s Garrett Geroff completed eighth, with Remy Gardner and Ryan Vickers rounding out the highest 10.
