BRACELETON, Ga. — Charlie Woods will share an honor with Tiger Woods on Wednesday when the son of the 15-time main champion was named a first-team All-American by the U.S. Junior Golf Affiliation.
Charlie Woods, a senior at Benjamin College in South Florida, was certainly one of 12 boys named to the primary group on the AJGA’s annual listing. Myles Russell, a 17-year-old who was an alternate at this summer time’s Walker Cup, was named Participant of the 12 months for the second time.
Tiger Woods was the AJGA Participant of the 12 months in 1991 and 1992.
Charlie Woods gained his first large title on the Group TaylorMade Invitational in Might.
