PHOENIX — Stewart Cink received the PGA Tour Champions season finale, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, on Sunday at Phoenix Nation Membership to say the Charles Schwab Cup season factors title.
Cink closed with a 4-under 67 to complete at 20-under 264, two strokes behind third-round chief and second-place season chief Stephen Alker. Alker carded a bogey 70 on the par-5 18th gap.
The 52-year-old Cink received for the third time this season, and his fourth in 36 tournaments for gamers over 50. He has received eight occasions on the PGA Tour, highlighted by a playoff win over Tom Watson on the 2009 British Open.
Freddie Jacobson (66), Jerry Kelly (67) and Tommy Gainey (68) tied for third place at 15 underneath.
